    Ambra Cortina and Hotel Planlim suit different mountain bases: Cortina and Ortisei. Start with the outings you want, then choose the hotel whose town fits that part of the trip.

  2. A distinctive northern Italy stop

    Monastero Arx Vivendi brings an Arco setting to the Garda leg; Torrione Trento offers a city stop in a restored tower. Neither is a base beside Cortina’s mountain approaches.

  3. A smaller valley stay

    Astor Suites is in Selva, while Castel Vasio is a different Val di Non choice. Compare the village, arrival arrangements and evening plans before choosing on atmosphere alone.

  4. Give the property some time

    If the building or setting is a main reason to book, leave an afternoon or evening to enjoy it. Confirm the room, meals and cancellation terms that matter to your stay.
