Monteverde canopy choices: zipline or bridges?

Use Selvatura for the selected zipline option and compare it with quieter forest and hanging-bridge experiences. These are different outings and tickets.

Make the time count

The practical plan

  1. Choose the activity you actually want

The source catalog has one clearly named adventure-park zipline selection: Selvatura. Mistico is a hanging-bridge park, and Monteverde Preserve is a reserve visit; neither should be presented as an equivalent zipline product.

  2. Check restrictions with the operator

Confirm the exact package, age, height, weight, medical restrictions, weather policy and pickup before paying. A generic national guideline does not replace the operator’s current rules. [2]

  1. 01 · Selvatura, near Santa Elena Reserve

Choose between canopy ziplining, hanging bridges and the operator’s other experiences. Compare actual package inclusions, restrictions and pickup arrangements; a bridge walk and a zipline are different products.

  2. 02 · Mistico, near Lake Arenal

Choose a hanging-bridge circuit for a different view of the forest canopy. Confirm the actual route, guide and mobility requirements; a bridge circuit is not a zipline ticket.

  3. 03 · Monteverde Cloud Forest Preserve

Choose a self-guided forest walk or a booked natural-history tour. The preserve currently recommends online booking and arrival 15 minutes before the timed shuttle departure from its visitor center; a late arrival may miss entry.

Questions before you go

How do I fit these stops into a route?

Use the individual place’s locality and the saved route day order. These are alternatives across different areas, not a single day’s checklist. Choose the main outing before arranging the next overnight.

Are admission and current conditions confirmed?
