Where to stay in Guanacaste & Nicoya

Tamarindo and Langosta suit a beach base. Playa Grande and Playa Negra are different localities; Liberia is a mainland gateway, and Manzanillo is much farther south on the peninsula.

Make the time count

The practical plan

  1. Choose the actual base

Capitán Suizo and BoHo are in Tamarindo; Favela Chic is in Langosta; Flor y Bambu and the camping record are on the Playa Grande side; Latica is near Playa Negra. Choose the beach area first.

  2. Arrival matters

The saved Pacific route stays around Tamarindo and does not require a ferry. A southern Nicoya detour needs its own road or Puntarenas–Paquera ferry plan.

  3. Selected overnight or alternative?

The individual stay pages identify the exact saved default nights. A property directory includes alternatives and does not establish room availability.

Curated stays are planning choices, subject to availability. Use current road and site guidance for access; pins are not a driving route.
