I’d put Lago di Sorapis on the list for glacial lake views.
More about this place
Lago di Sorapis is a milky turquoise alpine lake beneath the Dito di Dio formation, reached on foot from Passo Tre Croci and best treated as a substantial mountain outing rather than a quick scenic stop.
The popular out-and-back route is roughly seven miles and commonly takes about five hours, while a longer loop can add distance, exposure, and route-finding demands in exchange for quieter views. The lake itself is fragile and swimming is inappropriate; bring a packed lunch, protect the shoreline, and keep all waste with you.
Allow five to seven hours parking to parking, start early, and check the official Cortina hiking information plus current weather and trail conditions. Several sections are narrow or protected by cables, so this is better for confident walkers and older children; snow, ice, storms, or poor visibility can make turning back the correct decision.
