I’d put Lagazuoi-5 Torri Ski Area on the list for a gondola ride.
More about this place
Lagazuoi–5 Torri Ski Area offers a cinematic Cortina ski day, linking the towers and Averau scenery with the high Lagazuoi cable car and, when conditions allow, the long Armentarola descent. The terrain and logistics suit confident intermediates and stronger skiers who value landscape, history, and a guided-route option over high lap counts.
Start at the Lagazuoi cable-car parking at Falzarego Pass. Choose the open Lagazuoi or 5 Torri–Averau connections from there and commit to Armentarola only with enough time for the complete return logistics. The Armentarola run ends outside the simple lift loop and may involve separate transport or the well-known horse tow; neither is guaranteed or included by the ski pass.
A Cortina-area or compatible Dolomiti Superski pass is required. Confirm the cable car, descent, road, and return transport on the day, and treat Super8 as an optional guided variation rather than the default. Confirm the complete transport chain and every extra charge when choosing a guided variation. Carry payment for the tow and transfer even when a guide expects them to operate.
Allow four to seven hours onsite, from a shorter ski session to a full lift day with normal breaks. Hotel approach, equipment collection and any separately booked lessons are additional unless included in your selected product. Keep to open marked terrain suited to the group.
