I’d keep Battleship Missouri Memorial in mind for a stop in Oʻahu.
More about this place
Battleship Missouri Memorial is a visit aboard the battleship where Japan’s formal surrender ended World War II, with the Surrender Deck, massive gun turrets and restored crew spaces.
General admission includes a short introductory guided tour followed by independent exploration. Allow about two hours aboard and roughly another hour for the public Ford Island shuttle journey and waiting. Begin at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center; visitors without military-base access cannot simply drive to the ship.
The USS Arizona Memorial and other Pearl Harbor museums are separate admissions. Check the ship’s bag, footwear and accessibility guidance before visiting; ladders and narrow passages can limit parts of the experience.
