More about this place
The Lion King is Broadway's grand family spectacle, transforming the familiar Disney story through puppetry, movement, music, and an opening procession that immediately establishes why the stage version stands apart from the film.
Choose seats with a clear view of the aisles as well as the stage, and protect enough energy for a full evening at the Minskoff Theatre. The show works for many school-age children, though the length still matters for very young travelers.
Weekend, holiday, and school-break performances book strongly; compare official seat maps before relying on a category name alone.

When comparing seats, think about the opening procession as well as the stage view. Seeing the puppets move through the theater is part of what makes this production feel different from watching the film.
