The Lake Rowboat Rental

The Lake Rowboat Rental is a one-hour rowing session from Central Park Boathouse, with low shoreline views toward Bow Bridge, Bethesda Terrace and the Ramble.

Go directly to the Boathouse boat-rental dock on the east side of the Lake. Allow the hour for a relaxed rental and follow the operator’s instructions on the permitted rowing area, return time, passenger limits and life jackets. Add time for any queue before your booked or available session.

Rentals are seasonal and weather dependent. This Activity covers rowing only; a bicycle rental, lunch and a guided park tour are separate choices. Boats are first come, first served and cannot be reserved; check the operator’s current hours before making the trip.
