Museum of Modern Art

Museum of Modern Art is a landmark collection of modern and contemporary art where familiar masterworks sit beside film, photography, architecture, design, and new media. Begin on the upper collection floors with the period or artists you care about most, then descend toward contemporary galleries rather than following every room in sequence.

Three hours gives enough time for major works and one special exhibition without museum fatigue. Admission covers all galleries and special exhibitions, children 16 and under enter free, and Friday stays open later than the standard daily schedule.

Book a timed ticket for weekends, holidays, or a short visit. Early morning offers the cleanest look at headline works; late Friday trades quieter galleries for a livelier evening atmosphere.
