More about this place
MJ is a jukebox musical centered on Michael Jackson's creative process during rehearsals for the 1992 Dangerous World Tour, using major songs and choreography to move through his career.
The dancing and concert-scale numbers are the draw, while the biographical framing introduces mature and contested material that families may want to review first. Treat it as a full theater evening rather than an add-on to a packed Midtown day.
Confirm casting, performance schedule, and current advisories through the official production site before booking.
2 expert tips

Choose a seat with a clear view of the ensemble’s footwork, and weigh any lottery sightline restriction against the saving. The closest or cheapest seat is less appealing if it hides the dancing you came to see.
If another language would help you follow the story, explore GalaPro translation options before choosing your performance. Set up the relevant support before arriving so it does not consume your time in the theater.
