Intrepid Museum

Intrepid Museum is an aviation, naval, and space museum built around the aircraft carrier Intrepid on the Hudson River. Move from the carrier’s hangar deck to restored aircraft, step beneath Space Shuttle Enterprise, and—if mobility and height allow—thread through the tight interior of submarine Growler.

Allow two to three hours for the carrier, aircraft and Space Shuttle Pavilion, with time for more exhibits if they catch your interest. General admission includes the carrier, Space Shuttle Pavilion, Growler, and temporary exhibitions; simulators, films, and certain premium experiences cost extra. The submarine requires narrow passageways and a minimum height of 40 inches.

Buy a timed digital ticket before a busy weekend or school holiday. Most public areas are accessible, but Growler and several historic ship spaces are not.
