Bronx Zoo

Bronx Zoo is a vast urban wildlife park where naturalistic habitats, major indoor houses, and seasonal rides can fill most of a day. Build the visit around two or three priorities—Congo Gorilla Forest, JungleWorld, Wild Asia, or the Children’s Zoo—then connect them with the shuttle or a focused walking loop.

The full Bronx Zoo Admission ticket includes the Star Attractions operating that day; Limited Admission costs less but charges separately for those extras. Availability changes with season, weather, capacity, and animal care, and the park’s scale means comfortable shoes and a route plan matter.

Purchase a date-specific ticket early for weekends and school breaks. Wednesday reduced-admission tickets require advance reservation and are released shortly before the visit.
