Apollo Experience Tour

Apollo Experience Tour is a reservation-only introduction to the Harlem institution’s music, performance and cultural history through an interactive presentation.

The historic auditorium is temporarily closed for renovation, and the Apollo Experience continues as the venue’s current tour format. This booking does not promise entry to the closed historic stage, backstage rooms or a live performance. Check the current tour page and your confirmation for the exact meeting entrance before traveling to West 125th Street.

Reserve a published departure in advance; tours are offered on selected days and are conducted in English. Allow up to two hours for arrival, check-in and the approximately 60–75-minute experience. Keep large bags elsewhere and follow the venue’s accessibility and security guidance. Historic-theater photographs illustrate the Apollo’s legacy rather than guaranteed access during the renovation.
