More about this place
Aladdin is a bright, joke-filled Broadway musical built around Disney's animated story, expanded songs, lavish costumes, and a stage version of the magic-carpet escape.
The New Amsterdam Theatre adds its own historic setting, while the production's pace and visual clarity make it one of the easier Broadway choices for families. Check the current minimum age and running time before promising it to younger children.
Reserve earlier for holiday weeks and matinees, and use the official ticket source to choose an actual seat rather than an opaque category.

Leave time to look around the New Amsterdam before the performance. Its historic interior is part of the outing, and it is easy to miss when your attention goes straight to the stage.
If another language would help someone follow the story, explore the production’s audio-translation options before choosing tickets. Knowing what support is available can make this a more confident family choice.
