I’d go to Spiaggia di Piscinas for a beach stop.

    More about this place

Spiaggia di Piscinas is a remote western Sardinian beach backed by extensive wind-shaped dunes. The long, open coastline offers a sense of isolation and unspoiled beauty.

It’s reachable via a rough gravel road and has very limited services, but that adds to its charm. Golden hour here is especially stunning, as the dunes glow under the fading sun.

Late light brings out the shapes and warm colors of the dunes without requiring a long walk across them.

Allow the approach drive and parking time in addition to your beach stop. Confirm road conditions locally, especially after rain, and choose a route suitable for your rental agreement. The exposed water can be rough even on a sunny day; enjoy the shore from the sand when conditions are unsuitable for swimming, and stay off protected dunes.
