I’d go to Cane Malu for a beach stop.
More about this place
Cane Malu is a natural seawater pool cut into pale trachyte on the coast near Bosa. The smooth volcanic rock and turquoise water create its distinctive lunar appearance, with open views along the shore. It is a rocky coastal stop rather than a serviced sandy beach.
Allow one to two hours for the approach, photographs and time by the pool. The regional tourism board describes a roughly ten-minute coastal approach from the river-port side of Bosa Marina; follow a current established path and return the same way. The uneven rock needs grippy footwear, and there are no beach facilities to rely on for water, shade or changing.
Swim only when the sea is calm and entry and exit are clearly manageable. Waves can sweep across the surrounding rock, particularly in northwesterly conditions, so a rough-sea visit should remain a distant viewpoint stop or be skipped. Bring drinking water and sun protection, and leave enough daylight for the walk back.
