I’d put Cala Domestica Beach on the list for a bit of local history.

    More about this place

Cala Domestica Beach is a sheltered sandy cove framed by limestone cliffs and the remains of Sardinia’s mining coast. It’s one of Sardinia’s lesser-known beaches, offering both scenic charm and historic character.

There are a few short trails leading to nearby viewpoints and a hidden second cove reachable on foot. While basic beach services are sometimes available in summer, the area feels largely untouched.

Bring water and food if you visit outside of July and August. The path to the second cove starts from the left side of the main beach.
