Square of Miracles

Square of Miracles is Pisa’s cathedral precinct, where the Leaning Tower, cathedral, baptistery and Camposanto bring together centuries of Pisan art and architecture. Start with the buildings’ contrasting shapes and marble façades, then choose the interiors that interest you rather than treating a tower photograph as the whole visit.

Allow 2–3h for a selection of monuments, with extra time for queues and the tower’s booked slot. Admission products cover different combinations; confirm that your ticket includes each planned interior. Arrive early for the timed tower entry, leave bags in the designated cloakroom and carry proof of age when required. Late arrivals may lose their slot without a refund.

Tower admission excludes children who do not turn eight during the calendar year; younger visitors can still enjoy the square and other permitted monuments. The climb involves stairs and is unsuitable for some mobility or health conditions. Pets cannot enter the monuments, apart from the stated guide-dog exception. Follow signs for the lawn areas where walking is allowed.
