I’d include Val Gardena Ski Day for a stop beside the Piz Sella/Piz Seteur lift access.
More about this place
Val Gardena Ski Day is a flexible resort-wide introduction to the connected terrain above Ortisei, Santa Cristina, and Selva. It suits travelers who want to compare sectors, test equipment, and choose between varied terrain without committing to a long circuit or the most technical pistes.
Start at Plan de Gralba, beside the Piz Sella/Piz Seteur lift access. Begin with terrain that matches the group’s ability, then move toward Ciampinoi and the Saslong side only when snow, visibility, and confidence support it. Build in time for navigation, lift queues, a hut lunch, and a conservative valley return; stronger skiers can add a legendary piste while mixed groups keep to linked blue and red runs.
Choose the pass whose named coverage matches the planned sectors, and verify the live slope and lift report that morning. Ski school, equipment, meals, and mountain transport beyond the pass are separate. Helmets are required for every skier, regardless of age, and third-party liability insurance is required separately from the lift pass. Carry eye protection, warm layers and an offline piste map.
Allow four to seven hours onsite, from a shorter ski session to a full lift day with normal breaks. Hotel approach, equipment collection and any separately booked lessons are additional unless included in your selected product. Keep to open marked terrain suited to the group.
