Punta Giràdili Hike

Punta Giràdili Hike is a strenuous mountain walk from the Pedra Longa coast toward the limestone cliffs above Baunei. Coastal views, old pastoral paths and the scale of the rock face make it a rewarding outing for experienced walkers.

The approach follows parts of the first Selvaggio Blu stage toward the Us Piggius area, with steep climbing and route-finding on uneven ground. Different routes reach different viewpoints; a path beneath the cliff is not automatically a safe summit route. Choose an established itinerary with a local guide or a reliable current route description.

Set aside most of the day, start early and carry sufficient water, food and sun protection. Exposed sections, heat and slippery rock after rain can change the difficulty substantially. The quieter setting is part of the appeal, but it also means fewer easy alternatives if the group becomes tired.
