Cala Goloritzé Hike is a steep out-and-back trail from Su Porteddu to a protected cove beneath the Baunei cliffs. The rock arch, pale pebbles and slender Punta Caroddi spire make the descent one of Sardinia’s most distinctive coastal walks.
The route passes through limestone terrain and Mediterranean scrub before reaching the small beach. Going down is easier than climbing back: allow roughly an hour or more for the descent and about two for the ascent, then add the time you want by the water. Fitness, heat and trail conditions can make the return slower.
Book through the official access system when reservations are required and confirm the current opening window before driving to the trailhead. Bring food, water and closed shoes with good grip; there are no beach facilities to rely on. An offshore boat view is a different experience and does not guarantee access to the beach.
