More about this place
Nora Archaeological Park is a coastal archaeological site where Phoenician, Punic, and Roman remains spread across a peninsula near Pula. Stone streets connect the theater, baths, houses, and mosaics, with the sea appearing between the ruins and the Spanish tower rising beyond them.
Allow one to two hours to follow the designated route, starting at the site entrance rather than wandering toward the tower or beach. A guided visit adds context to the layers of settlement; check the current admission product and departure times with the site operator. Do not walk on walls or mosaics, and keep the archaeological visit separate from any nearby beach stop.
The exposed peninsula has little shade and uneven surfaces, so carry water, sun protection, and shoes with grip. Ask about the current accessible route if steps or rough ground are a concern. Dogs are admitted on a leash under the published site rules. Opening and tour schedules change seasonally; confirm the final admission before setting off from Cagliari.
