Make the trip fit you

Make the connections work

City base or valley day?

Fyno’s five stays in this group are in Cusco city. Moray, Maras and Ollantaytambo require road connections; the group label is not a walkable neighbourhood. [5]

Leave room for altitude

CDC places Cusco at about 3,400 metres. A saved acclimation day is not a guarantee of readiness for Vinicunca or a multi-day trek. Seek personal advice from a qualified travel-health clinician. [5]

Work backwards from the train

The saved routes combine Moray, Maras and Ollantaytambo with an overnight in Machu Picchu Pueblo. Fix the actual station and departure first, then remove stops if needed. [3]

Questions before you go

Can I include all these places in one day?

No. The city, Sacred Valley stops and multi-day treks are different choices. Work backwards from any train connection and give a trek its full expedition time. [3]

What should I check again before travel?

The saved routes combine Moray, Maras and Ollantaytambo with an overnight in Machu Picchu Pueblo. Fix the actual station and departure first, then remove stops if needed. [3]
