I’d put Fairy Pools Walk on the list for waterfall views.
More about this place
Fairy Pools Walk is an out-and-back visit to clear pools and small waterfalls beneath the Cuillin, where moving water provides the close-up detail beneath a dramatic mountain backdrop. The appeal is following the stream and choosing a place to pause rather than reaching a summit.
Begin at the designated Fairy Pools car park and follow the maintained visitor path and bridges towards the main pools, returning by the same route. Allow two to three hours with photographs and a comfortable turnaround. Continuing into the higher Cuillin is a different mountain outing.
Check weather and local access before driving the narrow Glenbrittle road, and use only legal parking. Paths can be wet and exposed, so bring grippy footwear and waterproofs. Swimming is optional, cold and conditions-dependent; do not treat clear water as proof that a pool is safe to enter.
