Glasgow City Stories is a guided introduction to the city's medieval roots, industrial ambition and distinctive humour. Civic architecture, public art and changing streets reveal a personality quite different from Edinburgh's, making the extension more than another set of historic façades.

Allow around two hours for a guided city-centre walk and arrival at the meeting point. A local guide connects the city-centre landmarks with their social history, choosing details and a route that reflect the experience booked. Cathedral or civic-building exteriors do not imply admission to their interiors.

Dress for changeable weather and check the actual meeting instructions. Use the meeting point on your booking confirmation; city-centre tours do not all start at the same place. Public streets are free independently; guided interpretation has its own price, pace and accessibility arrangements.
