⚠️ Keep in mind that this viewpoint is located on a remote island Værøy, so you will need to take a 1.5 hour ferry from Moskenes. These ferries are pretty seldom with the only departure during the day from 9 to 10 am from Moskenes, and one back from Værøy at around 11 pm, making it the whole day experience. The Bodø to Moskenes Ferry is a scenic way to get to Lofoten Islands after landing in the major airport in Bodø. This offers a memorable journey through the dramatic landscapes of the Norwegian coastline.

During high season from June to August the ferry departs 6-8 times a day from early morning to late night. So if you want to start your itinerary as early as possible in Moskenes – land, get your car, and head straight to the ferry terminal. It will still take you 3 or 4 hours to get to Moskenes.

In low season, or if you don't want to stress out about tight schedules – start your trip with the first night in Bodø, and depart to Moskenes the very next morning. There are just two ferries from Bodø to Moskenes outside of summer months: early morning and ~4 pm, so plan accordingly.
