  1. 01 · Jerash, north of Amman

  2. 02 · Ajloun, north of Amman

A hilltop Ayyubid fortress near Ajloun. Pair it with Jerash as a northern excursion, rather than treating it as an Amman city sight.

  3. 03 · Jabal Amman

A city walk for cafés and an evening meal in Jabal Amman. It works after a sightseeing day when the remaining time and energy suit it.

  4. 04 · Downtown Amman and Jabal al-Qal’a

Two separate historic sites in Amman: the downtown Roman Theater and the hilltop Citadel. Plan the connection between them as well as the visits.

  8. 08 · Mujib Adventure Center, Dead Sea Highway

A water-based canyon outing from the Dead Sea Highway. Decide on the specific trail, current operation and participant requirements before fitting it into a resort day.

  9. 09 · Dead Sea hotel coast, near Sweimeh

Salt Beach is Fyno’s saved salt-shore viewpoint south of Wadi Mujib. Treat it as a possible photography stop, with access checked locally before leaving the road.

  12. 12 · Petra Archaeological Park, Wadi Musa

Petra deserves a full walking day. Start with the Siq and Treasury, then choose how much farther to go based on heat, terrain and the return to the entrance.

  13. 13 · Petra Visitor Center to the Treasury

An optional evening walking experience through the Siq to the Treasury. It is a separate event from exploring the wider archaeological site by day.

Questions before you go

Must I visit every saved stop?

No. The day review identifies tradeoffs. Keep the main outing, transfer and overnight feasible rather than treating the saved list as compulsory.
