Plan the day: Use the Amman city sights, Madaba and Mount Nebo as choices on the way to the selected Maโin night. They are separate places, not one city walking circuit.
If plans change: Drop a city stop or the bathing session if the road journey and hotel arrival need the time.

Day 3Dead Sea
Plan the day: Check the exact Mujib water trail is operating and suitable before leaving for it. The saved night is back on the Sweimeh resort coast.
If plans change: In the closed season or unsuitable water conditions, keep the resort night and replace canyoning with a quiet Dead Sea day.

Day 4Dead Sea
Plan the day: Travel south toward Wadi Musa. Salt Beach is a locally confirmed photo option; Little Petra is an optional arrival-afternoon visit.
If plans change: A morning float, uncertain beach access and Little Petra can crowd a transfer day. Drop the shore stop or Little Petra before rushing the journey.

Day 5Petra
Plan the day: Give Petra the main walking day. Choose one longer extension and leave time for the return; Petra By Night is a separate, schedule-dependent evening.
If plans change: Keep the evening free to rest if the walk is demanding or the show is not operating on your date.

Plan the day: Reach the camp meeting point with time for the confirmed desert excursion. The train-station stop does not include a train departure.
If plans change: Leave the railway stop out if it would delay camp transfer or sunset plans.

Plan the day: Reserve the day for the return to Amman and your onward connection. The saved Mujib Scenic Drive pin is a highland detour, not the coastal canyon entrance.
If plans change: Use a direct return or add an Amman night if the flight buffer and scenic detour cannot both fit.
