Art Basel VIP Previews offers a preview experience for travelers whose priority is seeing work before the public days and meeting galleries when the fair is most commercially active. The official 2026 preview runs Wednesday, October 21 from 10am–8pm and Thursday, October 22 from 11am–2pm, by invitation only; it is not included with an ordinary public-day ticket.

The public can buy the October 22 Vernissage product. It provides access from 2–8pm and one included champagne or nonalcoholic drink, but it is not the same as dealer, collector, or institutional preview credentials.
