Apukka Lakeside Sauna

Apukka Lakeside Sauna is a private wood-heated sauna beside Lake Olkka, where warmth and a quiet waterside setting offer a different pace from Lapland's organised adventures. A sauna host introduces the ritual, leaving your group to set a comfortable rhythm.

Allow about two hours around the booked ninety-minute session, with transport from Rovaniemi additional. The sauna accommodates up to six people; the basic booking covers one or two, with extra guests charged separately. Towels, robes and bathing items are supplied. Meet the host beside the lakeside saunas, and confirm the resort transfer and return shuttle if needed.

Enter the sauna nude or wrapped in a towel; bring a swimsuit for an optional lake dip. Choose a comfortable heat and breaks for everyone, particularly children. Follow the host's instructions at the water steps and never jump into the cold lake.
