VanDusen Botanical Garden

VanDusen Botanical Garden is a planted retreat where Vancouver's pace slows to the scale of leaves, birds and changing seasonal colour. It rewards travellers who enjoy an unhurried outdoor visit rather than a sequence of high-adrenaline attractions.

Allow two to three hours, using the garden map to choose a comfortable circuit through the collections open that day. Pause where the planting or wildlife catches your attention and leave time simply to sit; the experience changes naturally through the year instead of relying on one permanent floral spectacle.

Check ordinary garden admission and opening hours separately from special evening events or courses. The Bloedel Conservatory is a different site and is not an automatic part of this visit.
