A ski week, with four days on the mountain
The seven-day plan selects six nights at Fairmont Chateau Whistler in Upper Village, four ski days, a spa day and two travel days. It is designed for returning skiers; a seven-day holiday does not need seven lift days.
Choose the base and transfer
Upper Village is the Blackcomb side; central Village suits the main village lifts and evenings, while Creekside is a separate base farther south. Match the current lift calendar and coach drop-off to your hotel. YVR shuttles take approximately 2½–3 hours before delays; reserve both directions.

Compare a dated lift ticket, a suitable multi-day or season-pass product, and any eligible EDGE Card against four ski days. Check residence eligibility, peak-date restrictions and sales deadlines before choosing. Blackcomb’s scheduled 2026/27 opening is November 20; Whistler Mountain November 25, subject to conditions.

Day 1Arrive and settle in Upper VillageWhistler
Plan the day: Book the airport coach to fit your arrival, baggage and ski equipment. Tourism Whistler gives approximately 2½–3 hours from YVR by shuttle before unexpected delays. Confirm the actual hotel drop-off; the saved stay is at the Blackcomb base.
If plans change: If the last suitable coach does not fit the flight, add a Vancouver night. Do not rely on a two-hour downtown driving estimate for an airport connection.
Things to do
Keep this day flexible for travel and exploring.
Suggested stay
Day 2Find your ski rhythmWhistler
Plan the day: Use the first ski day to check current lift and terrain status and settle into the mountain. The saved plan is for returning skiers; choose lessons and appropriate terrain if your group needs them.
If plans change: A weather hold or limited opening can change the day. Check the live resort status before leaving the hotel.
Things to do
Suggested stay
Day 3Another mountain dayWhistler
Plan the day: Keep a second ski day, with time for rentals, morning lift queues and the return. Confirm that the exact pass or ticket covers your dates; a trip night is not a ski day.
If plans change: Choose village time or an open cultural attraction if the mountain plan does not work. Do not assume every non-ski venue operates daily.
Things to do
Suggested stay
Day 4Pause for recoveryWhistler
Plan the day: The saved activity is Scandinave Spa. Confirm its current admission rules, booking, treatment choice and transport; the spa is not at the hotel or the gondola base.
If plans change: Audain Art Museum or the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre are catalog alternatives. Check their calendar and travel arrangements first.
Things to do
Suggested stay
Day 5Back to the snowWhistler
Plan the day: This is the third saved ski day. Check the forecast and open terrain again; keep sightseeing and recovery time outside the lift day rather than stacking paid bookings.
If plans change: Use the day flexibly if weather changes. Cancellation and change terms depend on the actual product.
Things to do
Suggested stay
Day 6One last ski dayWhistler
Plan the day: The plan includes a fourth ski day, then a final night at the same hotel. Match a pass comparison to four ski days, the exact dates and any eligibility or peak-date restrictions.
If plans change: Protect packing and equipment return time; a fifth lift day is not part of this saved seven-day trip.
Things to do
Suggested stay
Day 7Return to VancouverWhistler
Plan the day: Book the return coach around the flight and allow for winter road delays, stops, unloading and airport check-in. Confirm the pickup location and the operator’s recommended flight margin.
If plans change: For an early flight, move to Vancouver the previous night and accept a shorter final mountain chapter.
Things to do
Keep this day flexible for travel and exploring.
