Sea to Sky Gondola

Sea to Sky Gondola is a mountain ascent above Howe Sound, where forested slopes drop towards the fjord and the granite peaks around Squamish fill the horizon. The summit suspension bridge and viewing decks put those changes of height and scale within an easy walk of the lift.

Allow about three hours for the round-trip gondola, the Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge and a relaxed walk on the signed summit paths. This is the lift-accessed summit visit; the steep uphill Sea to Summit trail is a separate hike. Choose shorter paths if low cloud, wet ground or mobility makes a longer walk less appealing.

Buy a ticket valid for your visit and bring an extra layer for the summit. Lift operations depend on weather, and annual maintenance closes the gondola November 16–26, 2026, with reopening scheduled for November 27. Parking, food and travel from Vancouver are additional.
