More about this place
Quarry Rock Hike is a forest climb from Deep Cove to a broad rock lookout over the inlet and the village below. Roots, stairs and small bridges give the approach its rhythm before the trees open onto the water.
Allow around two hours for the roughly 3.8-kilometre return walk, including a pause at the lookout. Follow the signed trail from the Panorama Park area and return the same way. The outing is distinct from a longer Baden-Powell Trail hike.
Wear shoes with grip and carry water; the path can be wet and crowded. Confirm current District of North Vancouver trail notices before setting out. Use legal village parking or public transport, and stay back from the unguarded rock edge.
