More about this place
Lynn Canyon Bridge and Forest Walk is a rainforest outing above a narrow river gorge, with a suspension bridge that brings the rushing water sharply into focus. Ferns, tall trees and steep canyon walls make the surrounding paths as rewarding as the crossing itself.
Allow about two hours for the bridge and a signed forest walk towards Twin Falls, returning to the same visitor area. Follow the park map for the open route rather than trying to cover the whole valley. Stairs and uneven paths make this more demanding than the short bridge crossing alone.
Public park access is free, while parking and the Ecology Centre have their own arrangements. Check current bridge and trail notices, wear shoes with grip and stay on the marked paths. The river is dangerously powerful; this itinerary is a walk, not a swimming outing.
