Granite Falls Zodiac Adventure

Granite Falls Zodiac Adventure is a fast-paced boat journey from Vancouver's urban waterfront into the forested scenery of Indian Arm. The contrast is the appeal: busy harbour views give way to cliffs, secluded shoreline and waterfalls reached from the water.

Allow three hours for the round trip from Granville Island, including the safety briefing and supplied protective gear. Stay with the skipper's instructions as the boat crosses open water and enters the fjord; this is an outdoor Zodiac experience rather than an enclosed sightseeing cruise.

Book ahead and confirm the actual departure dock. The trip requires a minimum height of 1.2 metres and is unsuitable for some back conditions and pregnancy. Bring layers, protect your belongings against spray and allow extra time to reach the island, where parking can be limited.
