More about this place
Chinese Canadian Museum is a journey through migration, belonging and community in the historic Wing Sang Building in Vancouver’s Chinatown. Personal stories give national history an intimate scale, while the building connects the exhibitions to the neighbourhood outside.
Allow about two hours to explore the galleries and any public tour that fits your visit. Exhibitions and programmes change, so choose the current displays that interest you rather than expecting one permanent route. Public guided tours run at selected times and are included with admission.
The museum normally opens Wednesday to Sunday, with holiday exceptions. Children twelve and under need an adult companion. The galleries have elevator access, and there is no on-site parking; leave time for the walk from transit or a nearby public parkade.
