I’d put Lake Louise Lakeshore Walk on the list for a walk.
More about this place
Lake Louise Lakeshore Walk is a gentle encounter with one of the Rockies' most recognisable mountain lakes. The shore path lets the view unfold gradually, with changing reflections and a closer sense of the valley than a single stop at the busy front viewpoint.
Start at the maintained lakeshore near the main visitor area, follow the shore towards the far end and return the same way. Allow about two hours for a relaxed walk and photographs. This outing does not include the climb to Lake Agnes or the Plain of Six Glaciers.
Arrange reliable access before travelling: reserved park shuttles or suitable public transit are preferable to gambling on scarce parking. Check the return service and leave time to board it. Wear layers and grippy shoes, follow current trail notices and do not mistake a partly frozen lake for a safe walking surface.
