More about this place
Valluga Summit and Run of Fame is a signature high-Alpine Ski Arlberg day that combines major lift viewpoints with a long linked-area progression when weather, open connections, and skier ability all align.
For most skiers, use a shorter marked-piste sector and the summit lifts only when conditions and access rules permit. The full RUN of FAME is an advanced 85-kilometre circuit, not the default day: choose it only if your ability, endurance and open connections support the complete route, or spread its sections over more than one day.
This is not a fixed off-piste objective and should never imply access beyond marked, open terrain. Wind can close upper lifts quickly, flat light can erase definition, and the full Run of Fame route demands realistic timing and endurance. Lift tickets, equipment, guiding, insurance, meals, and any specialist terrain access are separate. Mixed groups should shorten the circuit rather than letting one ambitious skier dictate the return.

Original curator notes · check current details.
Verify upper-lift status at breakfast, set a firm turnaround point, and keep a lower-sector alternative ready so the day still works when Valluga is not operating.
