The Bodø to Moskenes Ferry is a scenic way to get to Lofoten Islands after landing in the major airport in Bodø. This offers a memorable journey through the dramatic landscapes of the Norwegian coastline.
During high season from June to August the ferry departs 6-8 times a day from early morning to late night. So if you want to start your itinerary as early as possible in Moskenes – land, get your car, and head straight to the ferry terminal. It will still take you 3 or 4 hours to get to Moskenes.
In low season, or if you don't want to stress out about tight schedules – start your trip with the first night in Bodø, and depart to Moskenes the very next morning. There are just two ferries from Bodø to Moskenes outside of summer months: early morning and ~4 pm, so plan accordingly.

The Andenes - Gryllefjord ferry, named MV Skutvik, provides a connection between the islands of Andøya and Senja. It operates primarily in the summer months, from June to August, with a few additional days in May and September.
The ferry is capable of transporting a variety of vehicles, including cars, motorcycles, motorhomes, buses, and trucks. The journey takes a bit less than 2 hours on the open sea, and those prone to seasickness are advised to prepare.
The ferry operates 2-3 times per day in each direction. Check the links section above for 2023 timetable on the official website. It's important to note that pre-booking is not possible for this ferry. Passengers need to line up early enough in the waiting lanes. We recommend to arrive 2h in advance in July.
The cost for a one-way trip with a standard car, including the driver is NOK 695. Passengers can pay onboard at the bistro, and Tromskortet also offers online payment with a discount (this is not a booking).
