A Travel Partner may provide Fyno with information after a booking or purchase, such as whether a conversion occurred, the applicable product, booking value, or commission.
Usage, device, and technical information
When you use Fyno, we and our service providers may automatically collect information such as:
- IP address;

We currently use attribution identifiers and related measurement technologies without requesting Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission for cross-app tracking.

4. Artificial Intelligence and AI Providers
Fyno uses artificial intelligence and machine-learning technologies to power certain features of the Service.
To provide AI functionality, Fyno may send your prompt and relevant context to one or more third-party AI or model providers. Relevant context may include your itinerary, travel dates, saved activities or stays, preferences, previous conversation history, Fyno Content, and relevant pricing or availability information.
We may change AI providers over time.
Third-party AI providers process information on Fyno's behalf or in connection with the AI services they provide to us. Depending on the provider, contractual terms, product configuration, and settings applicable to our use of that provider, submitted information may also be retained or used by the provider to operate, secure, evaluate, or improve its services or models.
Fyno may itself use AI conversations and related interaction data to:
- improve prompts and instructions;
- evaluate response quality;
- improve recommendations;
- detect errors and safety issues;
- develop AI features;
- improve Fyno's models or AI systems; and
- improve the Service generally.
Authorized personnel may review AI interactions for the purposes described above.
Because AI providers and configurations may change, we do not promise that all AI interactions are processed by a single provider or under identical retention or model-improvement practices.
When you delete your Fyno account, Fyno deletes AI conversation history associated with that account as described in the Data Retention and Deletion section below. Data already processed by a third-party AI provider may be subject to that provider's applicable retention practices and contractual obligations.
5. Analytics, Attribution, and Advertising Technologies
Fyno uses analytics, attribution, diagnostics, and advertising technologies to understand and improve the Service and measure how users discover and interact with Fyno.
Providers may include services such as:
- product analytics providers;
- mobile attribution providers;
- crash and performance monitoring providers;
- advertising platforms;
- app-platform attribution systems; and
- related measurement services.
Examples of providers we use or may use include Mixpanel, Google/Firebase, AppsFlyer, Apple attribution services, and Meta. This list may change as our technology stack evolves.
These providers may process information such as device and app information, IP address, usage events, referral source, attribution identifiers, campaign information, and conversion events.
Fyno does not currently request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission to track users across apps and websites owned by other companies.
If our tracking practices change in a way that requires platform permission or consent, we will use the applicable platform controls.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Fyno's website uses cookies and similar technologies.
These technologies may support purposes such as:
- authentication and security;
- remembering settings;
- analytics;
- performance measurement;
- attribution;
- affiliate tracking; and
- advertising and marketing measurement.
Some cookies are necessary for the website to function. Others may be used for analytics, attribution, or advertising.
The availability and form of cookie choices may depend on your location and applicable law. Where consent is legally required for non-essential cookies or similar technologies, Fyno will provide an appropriate consent mechanism.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings, although disabling certain technologies may affect website functionality.
7. How We Disclose Personal Information
Fyno may disclose personal information as described below.
Service providers
We use third-party companies and contractors to help us operate Fyno.
These providers may support functions such as:
- cloud hosting and infrastructure;
- analytics;
- attribution;
- application performance and diagnostics;
- customer support;
- email;
- push notifications;
- AI and machine-learning services;
- authentication;
- security;
- advertising and marketing measurement; and
- other technical or operational services.
These providers may access personal information only as needed for the services they perform, subject to applicable agreements and law.
Travel Partners
Fyno works with third parties that provide or facilitate travel offers, inventory, pricing, availability, bookings, insurance, or affiliate tracking ("Travel Partners").
Travel Partners may include:
- online travel agencies;
- hotel, activity, transportation, and other travel suppliers;
- booking marketplaces;
- affiliate networks;
- pricing and availability providers;
- insurance providers; and
- related travel-service platforms.
When you choose to complete a booking, purchase, or insurance application through a Travel Partner, you provide information directly to that Travel Partner. The Travel Partner's own privacy policy governs its collection and use of that information.
Fyno may send or receive non-directly identifying referral and conversion information as described above.
AI providers
We may disclose AI prompts, conversation context, trip information, and related data to AI providers as described in the Artificial Intelligence and AI Providers section.
Other users and collaborators
If you invite another person to collaborate on a trip, collaborators may be able to see information associated with the trip as well as your name or display name and profile photo.
Collaborators may also see edits and other activity within the shared trip.
Public trip snapshots
If you choose to create a public trip snapshot or public sharing link, information included in the snapshot may be viewable by people who receive or otherwise obtain the link.
A public snapshot may include:
- destination;
- travel dates;
- itinerary and route;
- activities and stays;
- custom user-added places; and
- traveler names included in the shared trip.
Private notes, reservation documents, and similar private materials are excluded from public trip snapshots by default unless Fyno provides a specific feature allowing you to include them.
Public trip links are designed as unlisted links rather than content intentionally submitted by Fyno to search engines for indexing. However, people who receive a link may share it with others, and Fyno cannot control what recipients do with information they can access.
Legal, safety, and rights protection
We may disclose information if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:
- comply with law, legal process, or a lawful government request;
- investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents;
- enforce our Terms of Service;
- protect the rights, property, or safety of Fyno, our users, Travel Partners, or others; or
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Business transfers
We may disclose or transfer personal information in connection with an actual or proposed merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction.
If personal information is transferred as part of such a transaction, it remains subject to applicable privacy requirements.
8. We Do Not Sell Personal Information to Data Brokers
Fyno does not sell personal information to data brokers or third parties for monetary payment.
We may disclose information to analytics, attribution, advertising, AI, service, and Travel Partners for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Some U.S. privacy laws use terms such as "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" more broadly than their ordinary meaning and may classify certain advertising-related disclosures differently even when no money is exchanged for personal information.
If such a law applies to Fyno and gives you an opt-out right with respect to a particular practice, we will provide and honor the choices required by that law.
9. Your Choices

Where Fyno provides account controls, you may review or update certain account and profile information through the Service.
You may also contact us at legal@fyno.com or through Fyno support for assistance.

If you have a Fyno account, you can initiate account deletion in the Fyno app.
Account deletion is separate from canceling an Apple App Store subscription. Deleting your Fyno account does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

AI conversation history associated with your account is deleted as part of account deletion, subject to the retention practices described below.
Trip lifecycle communications
You may unsubscribe from optional trip lifecycle communications through the unsubscribe or preference controls provided by Fyno.
Marketing communications
You may opt out of marketing emails and other optional marketing communications using the unsubscribe or preference controls provided with the communication.

Cookies
You may control cookies using browser settings and any privacy or consent controls Fyno makes available.

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right protected by applicable law.
11. U.S. State Privacy Disclosures
Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional privacy rights if the applicable state privacy law applies to Fyno.
Depending on the law, these rights may include access, correction, deletion, portability, and the ability to opt out of certain uses of personal information for targeted advertising, sale, or sharing.
Fyno does not sell personal information to data brokers or third parties for monetary payment.
If Fyno becomes subject to a law that requires an additional privacy control, opt-out mechanism, or recognition of a legally valid browser or device signal for a particular processing activity, Fyno will implement the requirements applicable to that activity.
You may contact legal@fyno.com with questions about rights available where you live.
12. Canadian Users
If you are located in Canada, Fyno handles personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws where they apply.
Fyno identifies the purposes for which it collects, uses, and discloses personal information and limits its handling of personal information to purposes that are appropriate in the circumstances.
Where consent is required, the form of consent may depend on the sensitivity of the information and the reasonable expectations of the individual.
For optional purposes such as personalized marketing or advertising, Fyno will obtain consent where required by applicable law and will provide applicable choices to withdraw that consent.
Canadian users may request access to personal information under Fyno's control and may ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
You may also ask questions or challenge Fyno's compliance with applicable privacy requirements by contacting:
Fyno Privacy Team
legal@fyno.com
Depending on your province, you may also have the right to contact the applicable federal or provincial privacy regulator.
13. Children and Teen Users
Fyno is not intended for children under 13 years old, and we do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create Fyno accounts.
If we learn that we have collected personal information directly from a child under 13 in a manner not permitted by law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Users who are 13 or older but under the age of majority where they live should use Fyno with the consent and supervision required by our Terms of Service and applicable law.
An adult planning a trip may provide information about minors traveling with them, including names, ages, reservation information, and other trip-related details. We process that information for travel-planning and related purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Optional uses of information relating to teen users, including certain advertising or profiling activities, may be subject to additional consent or other restrictions under applicable law.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 has provided personal information directly to Fyno, contact us at legal@fyno.com.
14. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Service, maintain accounts, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements.
Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and why we process it.
Account deletion
When you delete your Fyno account, we take steps to delete or de-identify ordinary account and trip data promptly, subject to:
- legal or regulatory retention requirements;
- fraud-prevention and security needs;
- dispute resolution;
- accounting or recordkeeping obligations; and
- technical backup processes.
AI conversation history
AI conversation history associated with your Fyno account is deleted as part of account deletion, subject to limited legal, security, or backup retention.
Information already disclosed to an AI provider may remain subject to that provider's applicable retention practices and our contractual arrangements with that provider.
Analytics and attribution data
Retention periods for analytics and attribution data may vary by provider, data type, and business purpose. Fyno does not currently use a single fixed retention period for all analytics and attribution information.
We periodically evaluate whether information remains necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
Backups
Deleted information may remain temporarily in encrypted or restricted backups until those backups are overwritten or expire through normal retention cycles.
Aggregated and de-identified information
We may retain information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it no longer reasonably identifies you. We may use that information for analytics, research, product improvement, business reporting, and other lawful purposes.
15. Data Security
Fyno uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
These safeguards may include access controls, authentication measures, encryption where appropriate, monitoring, and security practices applied by Fyno and its service providers.
No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and Fyno cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and authentication methods secure.
16. International Processing and Transfers
Fyno is based in the United States, and user information is primarily hosted and processed in the United States.
Fyno also uses service providers, AI providers, Travel Partners, and other third parties that may process information in the United States or other countries.
As a result, your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in a country different from the country where you live.
Privacy and data-protection laws in those countries may differ from those in your home jurisdiction, and information may be subject to lawful access by courts, law-enforcement agencies, or other authorities in those jurisdictions.
Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, Fyno will use an appropriate transfer mechanism or contractual safeguard.
Fyno currently focuses its Service on users in the United States and Canada and does not intentionally target the Service to residents of the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom.
17. Third-Party Services
Fyno may link to or integrate with websites, applications, booking platforms, insurers, and other services operated by third parties.
When you leave Fyno or interact directly with a third-party service, that third party's privacy policy governs its collection and use of your information.
Fyno is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.
We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any Travel Partner or other third party before providing personal information to it.
18. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to:
- Fyno's products or features;
- AI functionality;
- analytics or advertising practices;
- Travel Partners;
- applicable law;
- service providers; or
- our business operations.
The "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy identifies the latest revision.
If we make a material change, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice where appropriate or required by law. Depending on the nature of the change, notice may be provided through the Service, by email, or through another appropriate channel.
If a new use of personal information requires consent under applicable law, updating this Privacy Policy alone does not replace that consent, and Fyno will obtain the required consent separately.
