teamLab Planets is a fully immersive digital art experience designed to be felt as much as seen. You move barefoot through massive, ever-changing installations where light, sound, mirrors, and water blur the line between your body and the artwork. Rooms transform slowly and organically — flowers bloom and dissolve, galaxies expand around you, and reflections stretch infinitely. It’s highly sensory, emotional, and intentionally disorienting in the best way.

This experience is more linear and guided than Borderless, with a clear start and finish, making it easy to plan into a busy Tokyo itinerary. The famous water room, where you wade through shallow water with digital koi swimming around your legs, is a highlight and unlike anything else in Japan. Planets tends to feel slightly calmer and more contemplative, especially if you visit early.
