KAMIFURANO, HOKKAIDO · JAPAN · VISIT GUIDE

Hinode Park

Hinode Park Lavender Hill is a panoramic flower park where lavender climbs a gentle slope beneath the Tokachi-dake range. The lookout at the top gives the planting a wider landscape context than a close-up farm visit, with Furano Basin fields spreading below.

BEFORE YOU GO

Plan your Hinode Park visit

Allow 1h for the visit, then add the journey.

The time above is Fyno’s curated visit allowance. Add the approach, queues, booked sessions and the return.

Choose the actual visit

Choose a hill walk and the current flower display. Add the approach separately from the time spent at the viewpoint. [5]

Plan the approach

Choose the town or resort first, then check each day’s approach and return. A summer rural circuit and a winter ski transfer need different arrangements; train access does not complete every final leg. [5]

MAKE IT YOUR TRIP

Choose your experience

Choose what fits your day

Choose flowers and rural viewpoints for a summer circuit, or a specific ski resort for winter. Unkai cloud views and the temporary ice village are condition-dependent experiences. [5]

More from Fyno’s curation

Hinode Park Lavender Hill is a panoramic flower park where lavender climbs a gentle slope beneath the Tokachi-dake range. The lookout at the top gives the planting a wider landscape context than a close-up farm visit, with Furano Basin fields spreading below.

Peak color usually concentrates in July, so treat timing as central to the experience rather than a footnote. Outside bloom season the viewpoint remains pleasant, but it is no longer the same activity.

Walk up slowly, protect the plantings, and combine the stop with nearby farms rather than expecting a full day here.

How long should I allow for Hinode Park?

Fyno’s curated allowance is 1h. It excludes the approach, queues, any required booking and your return journey.

Is this selected in a saved route?

It appears on Day 8 in the 11-day Hokkaido Road Trip default. Other durations can change membership and stop order.
