Choose between the Kawaguchiko/Fujiyoshida side of Mount Fuji and Hakone. They are different overnight bases and transport systems, even though Fyno groups their stays under Fuji.

7 places
  1. 01 · Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi

Allow for the approach and steps to the viewpoint. Fuji visibility and blossom conditions vary; the photograph is not a promise for your day.

  2. 02 · Fuefuki / north-side Fuji viewpoint

The short viewing allowance excludes the approach. Check the current shuttle or road arrangement before adding the terraces to a lake day.

  3. 03 · Kawaguchiko, Yamanashi

Choose the textile-art visit for its own interest, with lake or mountain views as a bonus. Check the museum’s current opening calendar.

  4. 04 · Kawaguchiko, Yamanashi

This is an autumn leaf-viewing stop. Check the current foliage and event information; an October or November date alone does not establish peak color.

  5. 05 · Lake Kawaguchi north shore

Combine a lakeside walk with the part of the shore you are already visiting. Fuji views and flower displays depend on conditions and season.

  6. 06 · Fuji-area onsen experience

This record describes an experience rather than one universally bookable public bath. Choose the actual hotel or day-use provider and verify access and inclusions.

  7. 07 · Izu / Shakushi Pass source pin

The saved pin is south of the Fuji Five Lakes. Keep the existing URL, but plan this as a separate driving stop after checking the intended viewpoint and road access.

Before you set off

Leave room for the journey

Connect the right outings

Build around the lake and one viewpoint, with the Itchiku Museum or an onsen stay as an alternative when the mountain is hidden. A scenic visit is separate from climbing Mount Fuji.

Plan the approach and return

Plan the last connection to the lake or ryokan before choosing rooms. A view allowance at a terrace or pass does not include the approach. Check road, shuttle and weather conditions for the precise viewpoint. [3]

Choose an overnight base

Use Kawaguchiko or Fujiyoshida for the north-side Fuji stops. Hakone Retreat Före and Indigo Hakone Gora are in Hakone; avoid treating them as lakeside Kawaguchiko hotels.

Questions before you go

How should I fit this into my trip?

Choose your base and the main outing before adding optional stops. Read the linked full route for its actual day order and selected overnights.

Are the map and visit times a transport schedule?

Map pins show locations. Curated visit allowances exclude approach journeys, connections, queues and the return. Check the exact service or operator for your travel date.
