The Narrows is a popular hiking trail in the park that offers an unparalleled adventure for outdoor enthusiasts The Narrows trail is known for its stunning beauty, with towering rock walls rising high above the river and creating a narrow passageway that is only a few feet wide in some places. Along the way, you can enjoy the tranquility of the river and the stunning scenery that surrounds them. The Bottom up version of this hike starts from the bottom of the canyon, and hikers can wade through the river as they navigate through the canyon. Hiking as far as Big Spring is allowed without a permit. We strongly recommended to wear sturdy waterproof hiking shoes with good grip to protect your feet and provide stability on slippery rocks and in the water. It is important to choose shoes that fit well and are comfortable for extended periods of walking and wading through water.
