A Utah national parks road trip

For the Mighty Five, give Zion, Bryce, Capitol Reef, Arches and Canyonlands their own room. Use seven days as a selective outline or ten days for more walking and transfer margin.

Make the trip fit you

Make the journey work

A selective seven-day outline

Days 1–2: Zion from Springdale. Day 3: Bryce, sleeping nearby. Day 4: move by Highway 12 to Torrey with one main stop. Days 5–6: Moab, with Arches and Island in the Sky on separate days. Day 7: departure transfer. This excludes arrival and departure flights and does not promise every saved hike.

What ten days changes

Add a separate Escalante/Highway 12 night, a fuller Capitol Reef day and another Moab day. Those additions reduce the pressure to combine long walks with transfers. Choose the end airport before fixing the nights.

How this differs from the saved full circle

This is an editorial Utah-only outline, not a saved Fyno route. The existing 11-day Full Grand Circle continues through Monument Valley, Page and the South Rim before its Nevada return.

Reserve the outing you actually choose

Angels Landing and some wilderness outings need permits. Arches has no advance timed-entry requirement in 2026; check the correct travel-year policy before booking. [3][5]

Questions before you go

Is this Utah outline a saved Fyno itinerary?

It is an editorial outline for choosing a Utah-only trip. The existing Full Grand Circle saved route also visits Arizona and Monument Valley; its complete daily plan remains separate.

Are access and bookings guaranteed?

Check the current land-manager notice, any required reservation, and the operator or property for your dates before committing to the next part of the journey.
