“Alaska was never on top of our bucket list, but we changed our mind when we finally visited. The Last Frontier offers a true adventure through its vast untouched landscapes with untamed wildlife, awakening a curious explorer in every one of us. And did we mention Denali, the highest peak in North America?”

Getting around

Rental car is the best way to explore all the regions. You can also take scenic train rides or fly between Seward, Alyeska, Anchorage, and Denali regions.

Language

Everyone speaks English, so there's no language barrier at all, whether you're in large cities like Anchorage or Fairbanks, or smaller, remote towns. In more remote areas, such as small Native Alaskan communities, some locals may also speak their native languages (e.g., Inuit or Yupik), but English remains the primary language of communication.

Safety

Alaska is generally a safe place to visit but beware of unique hazards that come with its wilderness and remote locations. It's important to be prepared for unpredictable weather, rugged terrain, and potential wildlife encounters.
