Choose the geography first
Chichén Itzá, Ek Balam and Uxmal are in Yucatán state. Tulum and Muyil are in Quintana Roo. They belong to different day plans; a peninsula collection is not one continuous archaeological outing.
Choose a site for the route you are taking: Chichén Itzá or Ek Balam from Valladolid, Uxmal from Mérida, or Tulum and Muyil on the Caribbean side.

INAH’s Chichén Itzá page lists 08:00–17:00 with last access at 16:00 and an additional state charge. Its Tulum page lists last access at 15:30. These details were checked November 5, 2026; reconfirm the current arrangements and do not treat one fee as every site’s final total. [1][2]
INAH announced Muyil’s reopening on February 10, 2026. An archaeological admission does not automatically include a lagoon boat, canal float or another Sian Ka’an route; confirm the exact operator and access. [4]

Ek Balam lies north of Valladolid, separate from the Chichén Itzá corridor. Give the archaeological visit its own outing and check INAH’s current access rules rather than assuming climbing is permitted.
