The refuge features a cozy dining area where you can enjoy delicious meals while taking in panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. It's a perfect place to share stories with fellow travelers and soak in the unique atmosphere of Patagonia.
One of the main highlights of staying at Refugio Grey is its proximity to the majestic Grey Glacier. You can embark on guided glacier hikes or boat tours to witness the mesmerizing blue ice formations up close. The surrounding area also offers opportunities for hiking, bird watching, and wildlife spotting, making it a haven for nature enthusiasts.
Our favorite activity in the area besides the W-trek itself is kayaking next to the Gery Glacier and its icebergs (check the list of region highlights for more details). It is a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience, just steps away from the refugio.
