I’d put Routeburn Track on the list for waterfall views.

New Zealand is a land of breathtaking natural beauty and boundless adventure. By sheer variety of landscapes and types of activities, it is the most diverse destination on the planet.

The Routeburn Track is a world-renowned hiking trail, crossing both Fiordland National Park and Mount Aspiring National Park.

It offers stunning views of New Zealand's diverse landscape, including waterfalls, alpine meadows, and pristine lakes. Along the way, you will cross several suspension bridges, climb through mountain passes, and witness the breathtaking beauty of the Southern Alps.

The Routeburn Track can be completed in 2-4 days and requires a moderate level of fitness. It is a popular destination for hikers from all over the world and is considered one of the top hiking trails in New Zealand.

Logistics warning. No matter which way you hike, this track ends 3 hours drive away from your starting point, so you'll need to arrange your transport back to your car. There's a few options, as well as a quite convenient but more pricy car relocation service. Check the links section for our trusted vendors.
